Contributing Author to the Exhibition Catalogue

 

Love & Desire Masterpieces from the Tate was a remarkable exhibition exploring the works of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and their wider influence on British art in the nineteenth century. It   featured 40 of the Tate’s most famous Pre-Raphaelite masterpieces such as John Everett Millais Ophelia of 1851 – 1852 and John Waterhouse’s Lady of Shalott of 1888. The exhibition also included important works from the Manchester Art Gallery, The Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge University, The Ashmolean Museum,  Lady Lever Art Gallery, National Museum’s Liverpool and the National Gallery of Victoria.
